My 5 Seconds of Summer Concert Experience!

#ROWYSOConcord

Hellooooo!! So last Tuesday July 21, 2015, I had the incredible honor of seeing 5 Seconds of Summer for the second time at the Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour!  I bought tickets for myself and my friend Nicole for her birthday and we had the best time of our lives!  The show was at Concord Pavilion in Concord, California and the venue is literally small and cute.  It was such a big step up from last year which was the Fillmore in San Francisco that held 1000 people, versus this year at Concord Pavilion that holds 13000.

The venue was incredible, minus the mountainous hike to the amphitheater itself.  Nicole and I met at the venue and went from there.  Our seats were in section 101, aka Calum's side, and to get there we have to either take the path on the right.  When we got there, we were met with merch and food vendors.  The lines were surprisingly short so we decided to get our merch before the show.  We only waited in line for 5 minutes.  Seems sketch right?? Little did we know that there was another side of the venue that had everything this side had, but most of the other concert-goers entered from the other side.

After we bought our merch, Nicole and I headed to find our seats, but before I continue, let me show you the seating chart at Concord Pavilion...
Like I mentioned before, our seats were in section 101.  Looks like it's pretty far from the stage right?? WRONG. We were on the floor and I had no idea when I bought the tickets.  Just looking at the seating chart, it makes the venue seem so much bigger than it actually is, so to our surprise, our seats were super close and on the floor.  Yes, I completely freaked out and looked like an idiot. People were staring.  Who cards though???

Here's the view from our seats!

The show started with Hey Violet at 7:30pm, but Nicole and I have no interest in them so we got up and walked around the venue, trying to find our friends.  It was nice because we got to see tons of friends!  We were reunited with Jess too!

Anyways... after socializing, we headed back to our seats because 5SOS was going to go on soon.  There was an entire row of moms with little 10 year olds in front of us, which was super annoying cause moms but oh well.

When the show started, I was freaking out of course.  It was incredible; not as good as last year at the Fillmore, but it was still incredible.  If you even get the chance to see 5SOS live, you have to because they are seriously so amazing live.  It all felt like a dream to me, so I'll do what I did with my formal One Direction experience post and react the each song on the setlist.

1. End Up Here - This song is so good live, and it's a really amazing opener.  Gets the crowd really pumped up.
2. Out of My Limit - It's a classic 5SOS song that you never get tired of hearing.  I loved it
3. Voodoo Doll - Another classic.  It's better live than studio, I promise.
4. Permanent Vacation - This song is so punk rock.  It's a new song & the boys did a really great job engaging the crowd during this one.
5. Don't Stop - Another classic turned single, but it's better live.  It's a great party song and you can't help but to have fun during this one.
6. Disconnected - I can't even.  This one is always my favorite.  I can't even describe to you how I felt.  I cried though.
7. Long Way Home - This one gives me the feels so bad.  It's another one of my favorites.  I cannot say anymore without wanting to clench my chest and die.
8. Rejects - OH MY GOD THIS ONE. A true 5SOS fan would understand when I say that this song defines a 5SOS show.  That's all.
9. Heartache On the Big Screen - Also one of my favorites, another one that's better live.
10. Wrapped Around Your Finger - One word: MICHAEL. That's all I can say.  You have to see it to believe it.
11. Amnesia - TEARS TEARS TEARS. SOBS SOBS SOBS.
12. Beside You - This song really defines the 5SOS concert experience.  If you just close you eyes and listen for the first half then open them and look around, you'd understand.  It's incredible.
13. Everything I Didn't Say - Also another one that's incredible live.  You haaave to hear it.
14. American Idiot - SLAY. THEY SLAYED.
15. Kiss Me Kiss Me - I love this song because it's so cute.  I love cute things.  Luke sounded so cute.
16. She's Kinda Hot - THE NEW ONE! It's so good live.  I pretended like I knew all the lyrics when in reality I was just making incoherent noises the entire time.  It was awesome though.
17. She Looks So Perfect - You can never go wrong with a lil SLSP.  It just gets better every time.
ENCORE SONGS!
18. Good Girls (Are Bad Girls That Haven't Been Caught) - True 5SOS fans would know why I added the parenthesis part.  Again, another one that just gets better with age.
19. What I Like About You - I seriously jammed out the entire time with this one.  You can't help it.  It's jam worthy.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Like I've mentioned at least twice already, nothing will ever beat their show at the Fillmore last year, but this one was still amazing.  I'm sad they didn't play Heartbreak Girl, because it's my OG fave, or 18 because they're all too old for that one now I guess.  I still give it a 10/10 because Luke is my boyfriend and he might be reading this.  If you want to experience a mini version of my #ROWYSOConcord experience then click play on my vlog down below!

Thanks for reading! Here are some of the super awesome HQ pictures I took!

Ya I didn't get any good pictures of Michael because the lighting always sucked.

Vlog: 5 Seconds of Summer!

Hiiiiiiii! I went to see my boyfriend Luke and his band 5 Seconds of Summer play last night & vlogged it! It's a really really really long video.  I cut down over 50 minutes of footage into 16 minutes and then it took over 6 hours to process and upload.  It was really stressful and tiring but I hope you enjoy!  Don't forget to subscribe!

Concerts: Tips + Purse Essentials!

Hello!  Seeing that I've been to just a few concerts this past month, and more than a handful in my lifetime, I thought I would share what I carry with me, as well as a few key things to keep in mind while you're having the time of your life!

When going to a concert, you want to make sure that you're as free as possible, not being held back or tied down by an over sized bag, especially if you have no place to put it.  That brings me to...

TIP #1: Carry a clutch or cross body (or even just a wallet) rather than a large shoulder bag or satchel.

I've learned from experience that the worse thing in the world while your at a concert is worrying that you're going to lose you bag (or that it might get stolen! Trust no one!) My mom used to take me to concerts when I was like 10(??) so luckily, she would sit and hold my bag and I didn't have to worry, but once I started going to concerts alone with just my friends, I realized that I was accountable for my own belongings.  I hated being held back by my unnecessarily large bag, so I sized down.  You need less at a concert than you'd think and that brings me to...

TIP #2: Only bring what you know you need and nothing more.

You probably don't need that tube of mascara or that bottle of hand lotion... In order to keep you purse small, you need to limit what you pack.  There are so many things you think you'll need but really don't.  Everyone's purse contents are different.  It just takes multiple experiences before you truly know what you need to bring with you.  My purse is never bigger than both my hands together so I definitely limit myself.

TIP #3: Don't over stuff your bag!

The last thing you want to happen is you losing your stuff in the middle of a concert.  It's frustrating not only to you, but to the people around you.  Seriously people, bring only what you need.

Lastly I want to share what I carry with me to concerts.  Treat this as a (loose) list of the things you should consider bringing with you too!

Portable charger with a charging cord - that horrible feeling you get when your phone dies in the middle of you SnapChat video is something you don't want, trust me.
Camera - don't forget your memory card and battery(s)!  Many venues and artists have rules and regulations on what kinds of cameras can be brought in.  I've found that generally, if you camera has a lense of 3 inches or shorter and does not have a detachable lense, you're good.  I bring my vlogging camera with me and it takes great quality video and photos (so don't be afraid to splurge when you're looking at a nice point and shoot!)
Gum/Mints - you never know... you just might run into that band member... But also, no one likes stank breath.
Lipstick - I like to carry the one that I'm wearing but this isn't necessarily essential.
Lip Balm - definitely an essential. Like I said earlier, you just might run into your favorite band member!
Money - I like to carry my credit card for merch and cash for food.  Most food vendors at concerts nowadays accept cards but you never know.  Some smaller venues only accept cash.  I use card for merch because it's too risky to carry large amounts of cash for (REALLY EXPENSIVE) merch.  So my rule of thumb: card for merch, $20 for food.
I.D. - It appalls me that there are people who don't carry their I.D.'s with them.  ALWAYS bring it with you to concerts because you might need it to verify a transaction or to be identified in any situation.
Pocket Hand Sanitizer - Some concert venues are old and disgusting, everything is covered in germs. Just bring it with you pleeeease.
Tampon/Pad - have one for yourself even if it isn't that time of the month.  It might sneak up on you or you might be able to help another sista out.  Us girls gotta stick together!
Advil (or other ibuprofen) - I tend to get headaches randomly and there's nothing worse than not having any painkillers with you.  I always carry an extra dose or two just in case one of my friends need it too.
Water - water at venues can be expensive (seriously Levi's?? $5.75 for water?????) I always carry an unopened bottle because some venues won't let you bring it in if it's opened already.
And lastly....
YOUR TICKET! - please don't forget this.  This is seriously the most important part.  You can't get in without it!
(you also may want to bring tissues with you if are like me and are a waterfall when it comes to hearing you favorite song)

I hope this helps those who are new to the concert scene or are generally seeking guidance.  I'm no expert, but after having gone to loads of concerts, this is what I've learned!
Thanks for reading!

My One Direction Concert Experience!

Helllooooo! It's been over a week since I've had the crazy amazing experience of seeing One Direction live, and I wanted to share my experience!

I saw them on July 11, 2015 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.  I'm sure that if you're a directioner reading this, you understand how I felt and how I feel writing this.  I woke up early because I had a family party before the show (despite not wanting to party it up with my elders) so my family and I traveled all over the Bay Area before finally getting in the car to drive to see the babes.  Traffic was TERRIBLE and my friends, who I was meeting there, were not texting me back (whoooooo!).  We were so late that we missed Icona Pop, the opening act, which I was okay with because I don't really like them.

After what felt like an hour of trying to get ahold of my friends outside the stadium, I finally found one and we went to our seats.  I cried.  Here's the view from my seat! (peep lemonade man lol)

We didn't get to our seats until about 8:25 and 1D comes out at 8:30 (talk about luck right?).  I was really frustrated with all the events that happened before we were able to sit down, but I had my merch and my water so I was good.  1D doesn't actually come out at 8:30, they came out around 8:50 instead but oh well.  It was a whole roller coaster of emotions the entire show.  It's actually really hard for me to write about because most of it is pretty blurry to me.  It was one of the best nights of my life and I wish I could relive it.  (ahhhhh the days before Louis was a dad and before Zayn dissed NB and before Sophiam got engaged...)

Also, Harry wore those gold boots and I felt like I was wearing them with him.  Liam busted the hat out for the encore and Louis was so on point the whole time.  Niall was just fdnajkflhdua;fhndisa;fnd. (You can tell I'm [a] Niall('s) girl right lol) Here's them being cute during Little Things:

Here's the setlist with a little reaction of each song from me:

1. Clouds - Incredible opener.  It really set the whole tone for the show
2. Steal My Girl - this one is actually just as cute live as it is in general I LOVE IT
3. Little Black Dress - This one is just amazing live.  It's made to be sung live
4. Where Do Broken Hearts Go - also made to be sung live, was rocking out the entire time
5. Midnight Memories - again, made for the live show, also rocking out the entire time
6. Kiss You - tears were welling up in my eyes because this is my favorite song, they didn't dance thought :/
7. Stockholm Syndrome - also one of my faves and Niall was just (ded)
8. Spaces - okay I seriously cried so much.  I didn't expect this song from them, it actually really hurt
9. Ready to Run - made me wanna run and hug attack them.  I was ready (haha get it?) but seriously so good live.  First time I ever played the air guitar in public
10. Better Than Words - four words: NIALL. DID. THE. THING. and I died and am still dead
11. Don't Forget Where You Belong - I cried, how can you not???
12. Little Things - also cried because this is my favorite song
13. Night Changes - Niall slayed Zayn's solo, just saying
14. 18 - also cried cause I'm 18 (OMG THE SONG JUST STARTED PLAYING AS IM WRITING THIS) and because my other favorite ED SHEERAN wrote this beautiful song, also one of my faves
15. No Control - Niall slayed again
16. Alive - definitely not dead, definitely felt alive (ahhaah)
17. Diana - made me wish my name was Diana, also reminded me of my high school Econ teacher
18. What Makes You Beautiful - best to jam out to, how could you not? It's too classic
19. Through the Dark - also great to jam out to, made me feel great
20. Girl Almighty - let me start by saying that I feel like this song is about me, but it's my favorite too and it's too good live.  Too good
21. Story of My Life - just as deep.  Harry was slaying
22. You & I - made me sad cause Zayn but Liam was great too
23. Act My Age - I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY PLAYED THIS ONE. It's my cat's favorite song.  I just laughed the entire time while also Irish dancing on the inside
24. Little White Lies - loved it.  Also made me feel great
25. Best Song Ever - it's seriously the best song ever (HAHAH IM GREAT) but seriously it's an amazing way to end the show.  I just wish they did the little dance but oh well.

Anyways... If you want a little more about my experience you can check it out in my vlog right here! It's pretty poorly edited cause I'm lazy and there's too much screaming and a lot of crying and shakiness, but I hope you get a pretty thorough experience!  Thanks for reading!

OH ONE LAST THING!
NIALL WAS JUST SO HEART EYES

ALSO MUCH HQ

Okay that's it lol.

Cat Reviews: Urban Decay Naked Smoky

Hello! I recently received the new Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette in the mail and wanted to do an overview and a kind of first impression of it.

The palette itself costs $54, just like the previous three Naked palettes.  It is the same size and has the same amount of shadows and comes with a dual-ended brush.  It features 12 shadows, majority being new, never before seen shadows, and some fan favorites that have been brought back.

Here is the front of the Naked Smoky Palette:

The look of the palette itself was inspired by 70s smoky coffee tables (which my mom told me she had before too lol).  I love the look of the palette.  It definitely gives the smoky feel, the only thing I would change is that it would stand out more; the purpose of the palette is to create bold, smoky eyes, so wouldn't you think the packaging would be bolder? I don't know... Maybe it's just me?

Moving onto the shadows...

(this image is from the Urban Decay website)

Here are the swatches (swatched without primer):

The Naked Smoky palette features twelve shadows in this order from left to right:

High - a shimmery champagne (I used it for all over lid and for inner corner highlight)
Dirtysweet - a satin shimmer gold (haven't used this one yet but it looks gorgeous when swatched)
Radar - a deep bronze shimmer (used it to deepen my outer V to create more of a daytime smoky eye)

Armor - a shimmer metallic taupe (one of my favorites when I swatched it! haven't used it yet though :/)
Slanted - a satin silver (haven't used it yet and not that impressed with it yet)
Dagger - a satin grey (haven't used this one yet either but it was kind of chalky to swatch)

Black Market - a satin almost black (this one was also kind of chalky to swatch, but is perfect for deepening outer V)
Smolder - a satin purple taupe (just looking at this I LOVED IT but once on the eyes it doesn't look purple anymore. also it's darker than Black Market??)
Password - a matte taupe (haven't used this one yet but it seems like a really nice contour shade)

Whiskey - a matte brown (great for contour, you can definitely over do it with this one if you're not careful)
Combust - a matte champagne nude (loved it for all over lid base and also for contour/blending shade)
Thirteen - a matte egg shell white (your basic brow highlight shade, also could be used for inner third, but matte inner and center lids are not my favorite)

(As you can probably tell, all the lighter colors were harder to swatch :/)

Surprise, surprise, there isn't a matte black shadow in this palette.  Shocked?  I kind of was too, because you would think a matte black would be essential for a palette whose purpose is to create smoky eye looks right? After experimenting with this palette however, I've found that you don't actually need a matte black.  Smolder is actually darker than Black Market when swatched, which surprised me.  Smolder was one of my favorites as soon as I set eyes on the palette but I'm kind of disappointed in it.  When I used it on my eyes, it lost that gorgeous deep purple and became more of a muddy confused color.  I'll work with it more, but there is my general opinion after using it once.

As for comparing this palette to the other Naked palettes, you can't.  This palette is completely its own, but I can definitely seeing myself mixing this palette with others.  It's great if you're creating a smoky eye, but I see that this palette has potential for other looks as well.

Out of 10 I would give the Naked Smoky palette an 8 because I don't do smokey eyes that often, but also because I feel like this palette lacks the same quality as the other Naked palettes.  Many of the shadows don't feel as soft and buttery and the matte shadows swatched very chalky.  I definitely recommend this palette to anyone who loves a good smoky eye and is looking for a versatile palette to work with.

Let me know what you think of the new Naked Smoky Palette!

Manicure Mondays: July 13, 2015

July 13, 2015
On my nails this week is... OPI Alpine Snow!

You can never go wrong with a fresh white polish.  White and black polishes are always my go-to colors when I just want something simple because they are bold and make a statement all the while being simple.  OPI's Alpine Snow is definitely the best white polish I've used.  White polishes are notorious for being thin and difficult to work with, and like all OPI polishes, they are the best quality polishes ever.  It took three coats to get the most opaque color, but it doesn't get goopy and thick with more coats.

I used the same top and base coats as last week's post, but in case you missed it, my top coat is Out the Door and my base coat is OPI Original Nail Envy.

Last week I recommended putting a coat of Nail Envy on top of your polish before top coat, but DO NOT do it over white polish. Nail Envy has a slight yellow tint and it will make you white polish look gross.  Don't do it!!

Manicure Mondays: July 6, 2015

Manicure Mondays: July 6, 2015

About Manicure Mondays:
On most Mondays, I will post a Manicure Mondays, sharing what polish/polishes, and nail art I am sporting for the week.  It may be all Mondays, it may not, it all depends on how well my mani holds up!

July 6, 2015
On my nails this week is... China Glaze Pool Party!

Pool Party is a gorgeous orangey-coral shade that's perfect for the summer.  It's BRIGHT so be ready to get people's attention with this one.  In person, it looks like neon orange, but when you take a flash photo of the polish, it's a beautiful neon coral.  It's definitely an amazing go-to polish for the summer!

Here's the polish WITHOUT flash:

 Here's the polish WITH flash:

For my base coat, I use OPI's Original Nail Envy (right) and for top coat I use Out the Door (left).

A TIP! If you want a lasting mani, apply a thin coat of Nail Envy over your polish before your top coat, and don't forget the "wrap" the tips of your nails with top coat to prevent chipping!

What I Did for My Birthday: 2015

I recently celebrated my 18th birthday (YAY LEGAL!) and I wanted to share how I spent celebrated it!

I always celebrate my birthweek.  Yes, BIRTH WEEK.  It's something that I've just always done, and my parents never seem to have a problem with it, thank God.  For my 18th, I didn't want your typical Sweet 18 giant birthday bash; instead, I wanted a day to celebrate with my family, a day to celebrate with my friends, and a day that was meant just for me.

Celebration Part 1!
For my celebration with my family, I wanted to go to a San Francisco Giants game.  Being a HUGE Giants fan, it felt right to be celebrating there, so my mom and I picked out our tickets and off we went.  Our seats were AMAZING.  I got to eat my beloved crab sandwich, which if you ever have the chance to try one, YOU MUST.  Buster Posey hit a grand slam (I considered it his birthday present to me :p) and they won! It was a great day for Giants fans all over the world.

Here's a cool pano photo of me with my beloved JT Snow jersey.

Celebration Part 2!
For the day to myself, I wanted one thing, and one thing only: to see Ed Sheeran.  I'm blessed to say that it is the second time I am able to see him live.  Rixton opened for him, and I will save you from my obsessive rant about how good they were because you can read about that in my Monthly Obsessions: June 2015.  Ed Sheeran is complete raw talent.  Never have I ever felt the way I did when I was at his show.  He makes you feel so carefree and comfortable.  No PCD (Post Concert Depression) was suffered, and to this day, I still feel as happy as I did when I walked out of that venue.  If you ever get the chance, you HAVE to see him live.  Thank you myself, (and my parents) for giving myself the best birthday gift ever.

Here's a coolio photo I took of Rixton

Here's a coolio photo my friend took of Ed cause my phone died!!

Celebration Part 3!
As for my celebration with my friends, I wanted something small, so I invited them over for an afternoon tea and dinner.  Unfortunately only two of my friends were able to make it because the other three had family obligations, but we still had fun.  We basically spent the afternoon and night talking, having fun, and eating lots.  Again, I wanted it to be small.  My best friend got me my favorite movie, Happy Feet, and a JOSH GROBAN CD.  I love Josh Groban lol.

So that is how I celebrated my 18th birthday!  I honestly wasn't sure how I wanted to celebrate until days before my birthday but it turned out amazing!

Monthly Obsessions: June 2015

At the end of each month, I want to share some of the products, music, food, and more, that I've been loving, along with an explanation why I am in love.  While I was rummaging through my mess to see what to share this month, I was surprised to see that there are actually quite a few things!

How Monthly Obsessions posts will work:
I'll start by listing everything I've been loving, then go more in depth of each, with photos.  Let's do this!

June 2015:
St. Ives Fresh Hydration Lotion in Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract
L'oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 104 Golden Beige
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 104
Japonesque Mini Heated Lash Curler
Charlotte Russe "Wish & Whim" Caged-Back Performance Sports Bra
Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Saffiano Leather Phone Crossbody in Pale Blue
Coconut Water
Starbucks Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade
Little Mix - Black Magic
RIXTON!

St. Ives Fresh Hydration Lotion in Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract

I looooove this lotion!  Nothing is worse than having greasy lotion hands when you're in a hurry.  This lotion is super convenient because it is "continuous spray" like those cool spray sunscreens.  All you do it spray it on, lighting rub it in, and go!  It never leaves you feeling greasy and it absorbs super quickly!  Oh and it smells AMAZING too!

L'oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 104 Golden Beige

Okay seriously, this has made my holy grail list.  First, of course, the claims; a demi-matte finish, 24 hour wear, medium coverage, and an "air-light" texture, all of which I definitely agree.  I love the demi-matte finish because of my oily/dry combo skin.  It makes my skin glow, look healthy, and most importantly, FLAWLESS.  I would say it is a medium to high coverage foundation, so it's not meant for every day wear unless of course that's what you like.  As for me, I prefer something lighter for every day wear, which I why I always reach for my Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation, but because I've been so in love this this foundation, I mix it with a little light moisturizer to give the foundation a lighter feel.  You still get the coverage and flawlessness, and a little more moisture, since matte foundations tend to be more drying.  And although I lighten the formula a little bit for every day, alone the foundation does feel "air-light" as it claims.  As for the 24 hour wear claim, I can say for sure that it wears, and wears and wears.  I've worn this foundation for almost 24 hours once and it looked beautiful from start to finish.  It is a pricey-er drugstore foundation, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 104
This lipstick has been my go to lipstick for more than a month.  The photo does not do the color justice.  It's a rosey-pink nude, comparable to NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes, and it goes with everything.  I've worn it with a smokey eye, a bronze look, and even with just brows and mascara.  I first found out about this lipstick from one of my friends and I've been on the hunt for it ever since.  Rimmel Kate lipsticks are always so hard to find here!!!

Japonesque Mini Heated Lash Curler
Let me just start by saying how ANNOYING my stick-straight, downward pointing, Asian eyelashes are.  I hate them so much, but it has been my goal since I've started wearing makeup like 7 years ago, that I would find the best way to curl my lashes.  Now I will never let go of my Koji lash curler, because that lash curler has been nothing but a friend to me, but when I use this heated lash curler in addition to my manual curler, sparks fly.  I would never use this alone, it doesn't do enough, but after giving my lashes a quick little squeeze with the manual, then following up with heated, then a little squeeze of the manual again, my lashes look INCREDIBLE.  I also love the fact that it is pink. <3

Ulta for $15.99 (Also available in black for the same price)

Charlotte Russe "Wish & Whim" Caged-Back Performance Sports Bra
front
back
The purpose of me sharing this sport bra this month, is not because it is an amazing sports bra.  I feel like it is not right to call this a "sports bra" because it is not a sports bra, it is a bralette.  Moving on however, I love it.  The caged back is so cute and goes perfect with the backless romper I bought on the same day.  Since purchasing this, I've worn it almost every day, washed it almost 20 times, and it is still perfect.  I like that it is only caged in the back, and not on the sides like some other bralettes because that's a little too much skin for me.  I would say it was a little on the pricey-er side, but for Charlotte Russe, the quality is better than I expected.

Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Saffiano Leather Phone Crossbody in Pale Blue
This is by far my favorite this month.  I received this purse as a gift and I haven't stopped using it since.  It is super small, comparable to the size of a normal clutch purse.  I call it my baby.  It's Cinderella blue is my dream come true, and it's the perfect concert purse.  It has a card slot compartment so you don't need a wallet (you also probably can't fit a wallet in it lol), a phone compartment that fits iPhones and other smartphones, and one last compartment that features a zipper pocket.  The backside of the purse has a little slip pocket that I find myself putting my phone into.  A non-magnetic button closure and a removable strap.  I'm in love; that's all I can say.

Unfortunately, they no longer sell this color, but other colors are available at Michael Kors for $158.00

Coconut Water
The Vita Coco coconut water is not my favorite, it's what I had so I took a picture of it for my Monthly Obsessions, but I love coconut water.  As summer kicks in, so does the heat, and nothing is more refreshing than a chilled coconut water.  My personal favorites are the Trader Joe's coconut water and the Safeway Refreshe coconut water with pineapple.  Coconut water is amazing for you, and even though it should never replace water entirely, it's a great alternative to just drinking plain water.

Starbucks Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade
Obviously my drink itself doesn't stick around long enough for me to take a photo of it, but let me tell you, if you want something from Starbucks that isn't as sugary as a frappicino or as caffeinated as coffee, but just as refreshing GET THIS! It has such a light flavor and is slightly tart, and I'm someone who hatessssss tart but I don't mind this at all.  Even as the ice starts to melt and the drink waters down, the flavor doesn't dilute which amazes me, like how???

Venti at Starbucks for $3.75 (super affordable too!!!!!!!)

Little Mix - Black Magic
I've always loved Little Mix, but I've never found myself getting addicted to one of their songs like I've been to "Black Magic".  It is amazingly peppy, happy, and there's seriously nothing better.  It just makes you happy to hear it!

Rixton
I saved the best for last.  I feel bad for saying that there was nothing better than "Black Magic" earlier, I take it back now because there is seriously nothing better than Rixton.  Don't fear, I will never let go of my unwavering love for One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, but Rixton is incredible.  I definitely think they should be bigger than they are now.  I had the pleasure to see then live for the first time when they opened for Ed Sheeran, and I was thoroughly impressed.  I had started listening to them about two months before I saw them, and wow they are even better live.  Rixton is seriously one of the best gigs I've seen.  It was entertaining, pumped you up, and kept you engaged the entire time.  (Not to forget that Jake's sassy dance moves never ceased to put a smile on my face) Their entire album is incredible.  Every song is just so fhdeaohfraiu;ghjkrngfdl.  "Hotel Ceiling" is my favorite!

If you've made it all the way here, congrats.
What were some of your favorite things this month???
