12 Days of Catmas: Day 3 - My Christmas Dorm Decor!

Aloha friends and welcome to DAY THREE of the 12 Days of Catmas!  Just like I did last year, today I'll be sharing with you my Christmas dorm decor!  Pretty much all the decorations are the same, but because I live in a new place, things are arranged differently.  I honestly prefer last year's set up, but unfortunately, the way this room is set up is out of my control... So anywayz... let's begin!

First of all, here is a little overview of the main walls/bed area that's super cutely decorated.

As you can see on my bed, the lil Noel pillow made it back.  It's from the Dollar Spot at Target but I'm pretty sure they don't sell it anymore.  Sorry I don't have an up-close shot, but ya get the gist.  The tapestry is actually a part of my everyday decor, but I just happened to put it up at the same time as the rest of the decorations.  It was only $10 from Amazon, and it's super pretty!
I reused the really pretty rose gold "Merry Christmas" banner and the star of death, both of which I purchased at Target last year, and both of which they do not sell anymore :(.  I call it the star of death because it fell of me a few times last year, but it's made of cardboard and it's not sharp at all, but still!!!  The tassel banner was featured in my September Obsessions and is from Etsy.  I customized it to match the colors in my dorm, so you can as well to match whatever color scheme you're going for.  It's also part of my everyday dorm decor, but I left it up because I think it goes with the room's Christmasy feel, right?
My cute pengy friend, Blizzard, was a gift from Santa Claus last year, and I'm not sure if it was made in the North Pole, but the tag says "Made in China" so I'm pretty sure he outsourced it.  I don't blame the dude, that's a lot of presents for a lot of people.  I'm sure you can find a similar pengy at various shops around town.

LA LA LA LIGHTS aka the best part of Christmas!  Mine are from Target and they're up year-round, but like last year, I added those cute lil red bows to give it more of a Christmasy feel.  They are ancient, but you can find similar bows at Target, Dollar Store, etc.
So my bookshelf this year isn't as beautiful and magical as last year, but I had to work with what I have...  I reused the silver garland that was also around my bookshelf last year.  The rose string lights are from Target, and like everything else from Target, I'm pretty sure they don't sell them anymore. Those lights aren't even part of the Christmas decor, but I was too lazy to take them down lol.  My tree is kind of tucked in a corner, but the power cord had to reach somehow.  There are also little presents sitting beneath the tree, but you probably can't tell in the photo since I suck at taking pictures.  The silver glitter bow was on my door last year, but this was the only place I could put it without the glitter getting everywhere.  The ugly tinsel penguin is also back.  I still hate him, but ya know, he's fulfilling his purpose I guess.  Everything else on the shelves are just things that are there year-round, they have nothing to do with Christmas lol.

And that is all my Christmas dorm decor!  It's not as great as last year, but oh well.  I didn't decorate door this year because I decorated it before Thanksgiving last year and some people were not happy, but after Thanksgiving break I only have less than two weeks left at school so I just didn't even bother this year.  My photo tree also did not make it back this year because I don't have photos up on the wall in this room, but if you want to build a photo tree, click here to see how!  But all in all, it's still pretty good, right?

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas dorm decor!  It's definitely different from last year, but change is good!  My intention was for this post to share my home Christmas decor too but I just didn't get around to taking photos, so sorry!  Click the link for last year's dorm decor for links!  Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow!

All the Love,
Cat <3
